I was down in the dumps so I decided to go to New You Boot Camp as a friend had recommended the week long course to me.

I was nervous beforehand. I didn’t know what to expect, but now I’ve done New You Boot Camp I feel I can do anything.

After meeting everyone I took a few minutes to gather my thoughts. The group were so lovely, they were all there for different reasons. I met some amazing people - friends for life - and I’m really looking forward to the reunion.

There were low points and the group would all pull together to help each other out whenever one of us was feeling a bit down and when someone felt low, we’d all give encouragement.

It’s like a weight has been lifted. It was tough but I’m much fitter and stronger now and I’m going to take up spinning as I loved the cycling so much. And funnily enough I was good at the boxing. I’ve got a powerful right hook!’

Jo-Emma realises how far she has come when two weeks ago a newspaper published a photo of Joe and Kristina kissing in Rome. ‘Two months ago I'd have been in tears but now it doesn’t bother me as New You Boot Camp has empowered me!’
