Back to Basics New You Boot Camp is exactly what it says on the tin... it’s a basic version of our famous boot camp products. This is our longest running course. The results are just as phenomenal and the surroundings are just as beautiful. However, instead of being in a boutique luxury property you are in a 5* bunk house in the stunning Brecon Beacons in Bunk Bed rooms with shared bed rooms and bathrooms.

Come and stay with us for a week of intensive military fitness training and nutritional advice to help you reach your personal goals and receive the best results offered in the industry.

What's Included

Let’s get this clear it’s a New You Boot Camp without the frills... if you are looking for an affordable New You Boot Camp, and don’t mind basic bunk style bedrooms, communal showers, then keep on reading... if you can’t bear the idea of sleeping in a bunk style room sharing communal bathrooms with 5 other boot campers then take a look at our other products. We do offer the perfect boot camp solution for everyone.

New You Boot Camp - Back to Basics Boot Camp offers you the same tools, experience and results as any other New You Boot Camp. With the perfect mix of military exercise, adventure activities and hiking you will be sure to see the best results in the industry.

Both female only courses and mixed courses for males and females are offered at this boot camp. Please check the course dates below to see which date suits you.

It is only £985 per person and this includes, all expert advice, food, drink, training, accommodation and transfers.

Here is a sample list of activities that we do include during the week at New You Boot Camp Back to Basics. We offer a wide variety of activities and these are just a few. The first three days are split into hourly sessions to increase fitness levels and then as the week progresses off site activities such as abseiling, canoeing and hiking will be included.

On many boot camps there is a wide variety of fitness levels and when we have a large group with different fitness levels some classes will be split into different fitness levels to allow each of our clients to gain the most benefit from each class.

Training

One to ones are not offered at Back to Basics but you will get to know our trainers extremely well during your week. All New You Boot Camp Trainers are a fountain of knowledge, so please do feel free to speak to them about how you should continue training when you get home – they are always more than happy to help.

Nutrition

Nutrition Workshops are available during this boot camp programme. One to one’s are not included. However, do feel free to speak to our nutritionists during the workshops or when you see them on site – they are more than happy to help.

Travel

Please read carefully the directions and guidelines on whether you are travelling by train, plane or car. We try to make your journey to us as simple as possible and we look forward to seeing you at New You Boot Camp.

Via Train

For clients arriving by train, New You Boot Camp will be collecting you from the Train Station at 13.45 so please arrange to be at Abergavenny Train Station for this time.

  • Newport South Wales is on the main line from London Paddington.  A change will be required at Newport South Wales to Abergavenny.
  • Virgin Trains operate services from Scotland and the Midlands.
  • Train times are at www.nationalrail.co.uk  Most trains stop at Newport South Wales but some don’t so please be careful when booking your train.
  • Generally, trains leave Paddington at 15 or 45 minutes past the hour with a journey time varying between 2.15 hours to 2.45 hours.

Via Plane

For clients arriving by plane you will need to make your own way from the Airport to Abergavenny Train Station. New You Boot Camp will be collecting you from the train station at 13.45 so please arrange to be at the Train Station for this Time.

  • If your flight times do not match with this then please do contact head office on 0871 223 0066 to arrange alternative arrival plans.
  • Cardiff Airport is the closest Airport to the Venue pick up point. You will need to take a taxi from the Airport to Abergavenny Train Station where you will be collected by a member of the New You Boot Camp Team.
  • If you would like to book your Taxi in advance please call the Local Taxi Company on: Stockhams Taxis 01873 810 559
  • For your return journey you will be taken back to Abergavenny Train Station. Please arrange a taxi to take you back to your Airport. If you do need help in arranging this please do speak to you New You Boot Camp Manager during your weeks stay.

Via Car

For clients arriving by car you will need to make your way to the meeting point. A member of the New You Boot Camp Team will meet you at Crickhowell Car Park at 13.30

  • From London take the M4 Signposted The West. Leave the M4 at Junction 24 and take the 4th exit onto A449 Signposted The Midlands M50.
  • Branch Left and merge onto A40 follow the signs for Abergavenny.
  • At roundabout take 3rd exit onto A40 signposted Abergavenny.
  • At next roundabout take 3rd exit onto A40 signposted Abergavenny.
  • Bear right onto Monk Street (Signposted Brecon).
  • At traffic signal turn left on to the A40 (signposted Brecon).
  • At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A40 (signposted Brecon).
  • Turn Right at Green Hill Way and follow the signs for Crickhowell Pay and Display Car park.
  • You Have arrived at your New You Boot Camp pick up point.
  • The post code for SAT NAVs is: NP8 1AE

Fact Sheet

Here is a fact sheet to really outline what is included and expected at New You Boot Camp Back to Basics. We do hope this helps you decide on which of our boot camps is the best choice for you.   • 10-12 Hours Per Day Training to include military training and outdoor adventure training such as rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing and hiking (All outdoor activities are weather dependant)
  • All activities are compulsory. However, if you are scared of heights, water or any element of an activity we only encourage you to give it your best shot.
  • Bunkhouse accommodation - You will be sharing a room and bathroom facilities with other clients. Each room has en-suite facilities so you will only share with a maximum of 5 other clients.
  • All training to be done outside in the Brecon Beacons, come rain or shine.
  • No washing machine facilities on site.
  • Access to internet is very intermittent due to the remote venue so please do not depend on it.
  • Nutritionist onsite for group lectures. One to ones are not available on this course.
  • All food, drinks and training are included. There are no hidden costs once you are at New You Boot Camp.
  • We hold an average weight loss of 9lbs and an average inch loss of 9.5 inches. Always, remember your efforts during the week will reflect in the results. We ask that you put in 110%.
  • Group size up to 28 clients.
  • Water proofs and Hiking Boots are essential for this camp. Some activities to be done off site so please bring a rucksack to carry any items you need for the day. A 1 litre water bottle is also a necessity.
