Alpine Fitness Camp

7 amazing nights in the Alps!

For 2012 Alpine Fitness Camp launches with the introduction of Nordic Walking along side, mountain bike riding hiking and our famous military inspired boot camp programme. Nordic Walking is one of the most effective cardiovascular and fat burning exercises there is (burning twice the amount of calories than walking or jogging). Mimicking the movements of cross-country skiing it utilises 90 per cent of the body’s muscles offering clients a low impact alternative form of exercise that is great for muscle toning and weight loss. Combining the low intensity training of Nordic Walking with the high intensity boot camp programme is the ideal combination when it comes to burning fat whilst increasing your fitness levels. Located in the Austrian Alps, situated within the picturesque village of Wagrain the Alpine Fitness Camp is the perfect getaway for those who want both a fitness retreat and a magical Alpine activity adventure.

Our property is a newly built chalet with beautiful outstretched views. The contrasts between majestic mountains, smooth, green mountain pastures, rumbling mountain torrents and quiet lakes are part of what makes the Alps so attractive. Just the right thing to test one’s limits or to provide an opportunity to turn one’s back on tedious daily routines. All rooms are twin bunk en-suites but we welcome you to come alone and we will endeavour to pair you up with a like minded individual.

What's Included

  • Cookery demonstrations from our wonderful chefs who will take you through some fabulous healthy recipes.

At this property there is full access to sauna facilities – perfect for you at the end of your long days in the mountains.

The New You Boot Camp Alpine Fitness Camp offers you days of hiking, nordic walking and mountain biking. If you are a beginner or advanced, this week will suit you. All levels of fitness will be catered for and we will ensure you increase your fitness substantially in parallel with burning fat, trimming down, improving your health whilst enjoying the stunning Tirol and discovering the “New You”.

(Please note at New You Fitness Camp there is more focus on fitness than weight loss which will mean clients will not be weighed or measured).

Here is a sample list of activities that we do include during the week at New You Boot Camp Alpine Fitness Camp. We offer a wide variety of activities and these are just a few. This fitness camp has far more outdoor activity days, such as hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking than any of the other New You Boot Camp’s.

On many boot camps there is a wide variety of fitness levels and when we have a large group with different fitness levels some classes will be split into different fitness levels to allow each of our clients to gain the most benefit from each class and outdoor activity.

Training

One to ones are not offered at Alpine Fitness Camp but you will get to know our trainers extremely well during your week. All New You Boot Camp Trainers are a fountain of knowledge, so please do feel free to speak to them about how you should continue training when you get home – they are always more than happy to help.

Nutrition

The food and menus are still based on the New You Boot Camp therapeutic cooking menus. However, no nutritionist is on site at this boot camp. Our chefs will be able to answer any questions you have concerning the cooking style and the therapeutic value of our meals.

Travel

The New You Boot Camp Team are excited to welcome you to New You Boot Camp’s Alpine Fitness Camp.

Flights are extremely reasonable to Salzburg and can easily be booked through budget airlines such as Ryan Air. Flights can also be found through British Airways.

New You Boot Camp will have one pick up time from Salzburg Airport and one drop off. All details of transfers are sent to you at the point of booking.

If your flights do arrive at a conflicting time we will be happy to help you arrange alternative transport to our venue.

We try to make your journey to us as simple as possible and we look forward to seeing you at New You Boot Camp.

  • 10-12 Hours Per Day Training to include military training and outdoor adventure training such as Nordic walking, mountain biking and hiking (All outdoor activities are weather dependant) Please be aware this fitness camp is far more outdoor activity based than any other course at New You Boot Camp.
  • All activities are compulsory. However, if you are scared of water or any element of an activity we only encourage you to give it your best shot.
  • Luxury Bunk Style Nest Bed Accommodation- You will be sharing a room and bathroom facilities with another clients.
  • Sauna facilities and swimming pool are available for use on site.
  • All training to be done outside in the Austrian Tirol, come rain or shine
  • No washing machine facilities on site
  • Access to internet is very intermittent due to the remote venue so please do not depend on it.
  • Nutritionist is not onsite on this course.
  • All food, drinks and training are included. There are no hidden costs once you are at New You Boot Camp.
  • This course is not as directed towards weight loss as it is a fitness camp. However, some of our best weight loss results have been achieved at this venue.
  • Group size up to 23 clients
  • Water proofs and Hiking Boots are essential for this camp. Some activities to be done off site so please bring a rucksack to carry any items you need for the day. A 1 litre water bottle is also a necessity.
